I just finished watching Zettai Kareshi ~Kanzen Muketsu no Koibito Robot. I realised how much I’ve missed the drama and I cried again. I can’t say I was too disappointed with the ending, just that Nighto died for the second time is rather too much and just too sad for me. *sniff sniff* “Why am I a robot? ” his words pierced through my heart. Despite its sad ending, this special is still sugoi to me personally unlike most drama specials that has wayy too many flashbacks. Zettai Kareshi flashback is just nice and necessary. Plus, Hayami Mokomichi rocks! He played Nighto to the perfection…

Found this movie DVD really really cheap (around USD$2) during stock clearance sale and I’m so glad that I decided to buy it. Kou Shibasaki and Joe Odagiri are gorgeous young talented actors, however it’s the elderly characters who captured my heart in this sad and sweet movie. If I were to have gay or transvestite grandparents or parents, I believe I would accept, forgive and love him/her with an open heart and open mind.

“Age is just a number?” – True or False?
False for me cos I’m good at maths. 😛
Anyway, another J-movie worth mentioning and stamping in this blog is Tokyo Tower. Though be warn that there is some mild bed scenes and nudity, it’s definitely NOT porn. In addition I don’t think that was the main reason it’s no longer available at crunchyroll. Notice that most movies/dramas related to Junichi Okada are put under Licensed Movies/Dramas. Hmmm……..
Anyway, luckily I get to download the movie (even though low-quality version) and its making, behind the scenes specials before they were removed from the website. Alternatively buy the dvd at cdjapan
Storyline-wise is about older woman younger man kinda thing but it’s not cute or funny at all like Suppli (Kame, Eita & Itoh Misaki) It’s rather moody, non-judgemental approach of exploring the adulterous relationship between 2 older women and 2 younger men with age gap around 10-20 years. Gasp!
