DBSK Jae Joong debut in J-Drama

This should be old news but I could not contain my excitement when I read that my most fave DBSK guy will work with my fave J-drama “couple” Eita and Ueno Juri. This is definitely a good opportunity for him to learn from great actors like Eita and Ueno Juri! Would be awesome if their characters are in some sort of love triangle 😀

Since this drama is written by the same person, as in with Jae Joong’s Postman to Heaven, I believe the writer should be more or less know what to pen Jae Joong’s character based on his acting capability. Can’t wait………. 😉

Hero Jaejoong of Korean idol group TVXQ will appear in a Japanese television drama, according to a source close to the singer.

The source said in a phone call with Asia Economic Daily on Tuesday that  “it has recently been confirmed that Hero Jaejoong will appear in a drama to air on Fuji TV.”

The pop idol will be starring in the TV series titled “Sunao ni narenakute“, written by popular television writer Kitagawa Eriko.

This will be the second collaboration between the famed writer and singer; they first met last year as writer and actor on telecinemaPostman to Heaven“, which starred Hero Jaejoong and Korean actress Han Hyo-joo.

“Sunao”, a story of friendship between a man and a woman who became acquaintances through Twitter, will star top Japanese actors Eita and Ueno Juri of smash hit TV series “Nodame Cantabile”. Eita is set to play a newbie cameramen while Ueno will portray a temporary high-school teacher.

The series, which premieres in April, will be broadcast every Thursday at 10 p.m.

Hero Jaejoong debuted in 2004 in the five-member boy band TVXQ, one of the most successful K-pop acts in Asia. They reportedly have the largest fanbase in the world and have enjoyed great success in the Japanese music industry in particular.

The band became the first foreign artist to top the Oricon singles charts six times with their 27th single “Share the World/We are!” released last year.

Yomei Ikkagetsu no Hanayome (Bride with 1 month to live)

Nana and Eita

Looking at Eita and Nana Eikura in this youtube video got me all choked up. *sniff sniff* They are gonna make this true story lovely, beautiful and touching! I’m gonna watch this no matter what..

Love the song in this trailer too, which in my opinion so much fitting than the theme song by Juju x Jay’ed. Found out that this song is sang by Aoi Teshima, a cover of Bette Midler’s The Rose. Check out both songs Continue reading

awww, ikuta toma must be very tired to smile

Honestly, I was not too keen to watch another forensic medicine theme series. Believe it or not, I stopped watching the popular HK Drama Forensic Heroes 2 after less than 10 episodes.  I believe the overdosed of Bruckheimer’s CSI drama has crippled my senses to continue watching.  The main reason I’m checking this drama out is because of talented Eita who is finally playing a leading role. Yippeee!…. and therefore, I wouldnt want to miss this!!

Voice gave me a good impression Continue reading

Last Friends

Just finished watching episode 5 of Last Friends at soju. Definitely gonna be my all-time favourite dramas even though I haven’t seen the ending yet.

The storyline is rather deep and dark. Plus, I’m sucker for character-driven kinda dramas, especially the way it unfolds layer by layer, leaving you wanting for more. Impressive performance especially from Ueno Juri (Nodame Cantabile).

Plus, I coundn’t get the theme song by Utada Hikaru out off my head. The lyrics is fittingly made for Ueno Juri’s gay character Ruka’s love to Michiru.
