Wow, I really did not see this coming. Haha.. Hiro’s character may have not get the gal in Zettai Kareshi but he got the singer who sang the theme song! 😛 Love Okaeri… and lovely Ayaka…  I wonder whether they know each other before Zettai Kareshi.. 😉 heehee.. I can’t resist analyse their compatibility… However, regardless… Omedetou Hiro Mizushima and Ayaka!!. 🙂

[Tokyograph News] Popular actor Hiro Mizushima (24) and singer-songwriter Ayaka (21) surprised the entertainment industry on Friday when they held a press conference announcing that they recently married. In addition, it was revealed that Ayaka will be putting her music career on hold.

The two apparently first met three years ago, but it wasn’t until a magazine interview last spring that their relationship began to develop. The pair started seriously dating in August. They decided to register their marriage on February 22.

Mizushima explained, “She is indispensable to me. I thought, if I let go of her, I’ll regret it my entire life.” Ayaka commented, “My first impression of him was that he had really powerful eyes, and he could completely see through me. Right now, he is someone I respect from the bottom of my heart.”

It was also learned that immediately after Ayaka’s debut in 2006, she became ill with Graves’ disease, an autoimmune disorder. Ayaka tearfully reported that her symptoms have been increasing. As a result, Ayaka will continue with her music until the end of this year, after which she will put her career on hold. Mizushima promised to protect and support her.

12th Nikkan Sports Drama (Winter 2009 Drama)

Congrats to Kame and his winter drama (Kami no Shizuku) for winning the best actor. I’m kinda regret for not watching my fave crush Kame’s drama. His drama swept the most awards.  I don’t understand why Mei-Chan is not in the top 5?!!.

Anyways, since I don’t have the chance to vote in the Nikkan Sports magazine (cos not available in my country 😦 ), my pick as below.

Best Drama:
Winner – Kami no Shizuku
Me pick – Zeni Geba and Mei-Chan no Shitsuji cos these are the only dramas that kept me interested,wanting for more, continue watching.  I stopped the other dramas after few episodes to make way for Korean BBF and Taiwan Meteor Garden.. 😛

Best Actor:
Winner – Kazuya Kamenashi

Rhito is melting me but I’m starting to like Kento too… I’m feeling Kento’s unrequited painful love for Mei-Chan, sigh! Kento follows and fights for his love. Rhito’s on the hand is way gorgeous than Kento

Mei-chan no Shitsuji

[Edit 4th April] Hiro Mizushima is no longer single. He is getting married!!

When I watched the first episode, I tried to ignore and not to be bothered by Eikura Nana‘s short hairstyle.  Her hair was long and looking all sweet gentle elegant in Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru and Proposal Daisakusen!! 20 minutes into the show, I totally gotten used to her hairstyle and her character, watching this drama non-stop (eps1-4) in one night.  Love Nana, love her character, love the story and especially in lurrve with Hiro Mizushima.  Ermm, is it me or my imagination? I find his voice super deeply sexy than his previous roles in Hana Kimi and Zettai Kareshi. Plus, Sato Takeru looked like Kame and when his face turned expressionless, he looked like Jin!! 😛

Anyways, Mei-Chan no Shitsuji is ridiculously funny and I have to say I like it way better than Hana Kimi,  more enjoyable as there is NO over-the top repeated silliness like Hana Kimi.  I know these two dramas have different storyline but I just couldn’t resist comparing, perhaps because there are some familiar faces from Hana Kimi here.
