Matsuyama Kenichi and Koyuki relationship is confirmed

Who is L? There’s no L here except Momo..

Best known for his character – L in Death Note, Ken’ichi Matsuyama (Zeni Geba, Sexy Voice and Robo, Detroit Metal City) has acknowledged his relationship with Koyuki (Kimi wa Petto, Blood: The Last Vampire) at the press conference for his new movie Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac. When reporters asked Matsuyama if he has kissed Koyuki before, and if their relationship was progressing smoothly, he answered “yes” to both questions. He then bowed to the crowd of reporters before leaving the stage.

Hmmm.. In 2008 Ken’ichi Matsuyama plays a youth who falls an older woman in Don’t Laugh at My Romance whereas Koyuki falls for a younger man aka her human pet in Kimi wa Petto in 1993.  In reality, they met in Kamui Gaiden and fall for one another. Ken’ichi is now the new Momo….😀

Ken’ichi Matsuyama has stated his ideal woman is someone careful and understanding, with an honest character. He doesn’t like someone with an empty laugh or is pretentious. I believe he found that in Koyuki neh. Wish them both lifelong happiness….

After filming in Okinawa together for their new film ‘Kamui Gaiden’, Matsuyama Kennichi and Koyuki’s relationship has been progressing quite steadily. It seems like they’re almost at the point of living together. This week’s ‘Josei Jisei’ magazine published photos of the couple together. While Koyuki is older than Matsuyama by 8 years, it seems that age doesn’t matter as Koyuki’s father apparently sees Matsuyama as his future son-in-law. Although Koyuki still lives with her parents, it seems that Matsuyama has open access to her house. He was seen staying overnight at Koyuki’s house for three consecutive days. As well, Koyuki was seen picking up her mother driving Matsuyama’s car. The pair seems to be progressing nicely, so perhaps news of their marriage is not far away.

Matsuyama Kenichi and Koyuki have been rumoured together since collaborating on the film Kamui last year. While the two never admitted to the rumours at first, earlier in the week both parties finally acknowledged the relationship while attending separate functions. It seems their relationship has reached a new level. The latest issue of Japanese magazine Josei Seven reports that Matsuyama has moved in with Koyuki and her family. It seems like her family has already accepted Matsuyama as their son-in-law. Apparently Koyuki began renovating her house last fall to prepare for Matsuyama.

However, when the magazine interviewed Matsuyama’s mother, she said she was unaware of the move. But a close source to the couple said that it’s only because Matsuyama has not informed his mother yet.

Matsuyama Kenichi (24) has been rumoured with Koyuki, 9 years his senior, since April of last year. However, it was only on Tuesday at the press conference for his new movie Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac, that he first admitted to the romance. Matsuyama was joined by his co-stars Horikita Maki, currently in the TBS drama Tokujo Kabachi, and Anton Yelchin from the movie Terminator Salvation. When reporters asked Matsuyama if he has kissed Koyuki before, and if their relationship was progressing smoothly, he answered “yes” to both questions. He then bowed to the crowd of reporters before leaving the stage – sparkles_n15@asianfanatics.net
